The new McIntyre Feather pickup was developed to reproduce the most natural mandolin voice and not interfere with the acoustical properties of the top. It is installed before the back is put on and is standard on the Deluxe and Ultra models. The end pin jack is secure and keeps the wires hidden inside. Any make of pre-amp may be used.
